Charles and Pamela's live seem perfect， they have three children， a cute dog and a holiday home they bought after their first visit to the peaceful town of Newport， but this year things are different and Pamela isn't the only one picking up on it。 This is a slow burn read but it works well as we not only get to know all the Quinn family individually as well as see how things start to change right from the beginning of their trip to their summer home where everyone but Charles seems to be excited Charles and Pamela's live seem perfect， they have three children， a cute dog and a holiday home they bought after their first visit to the peaceful town of Newport， but this year things are different and Pamela isn't the only one picking up on it。 This is a slow burn read but it works well as we not only get to know all the Quinn family individually as well as see how things start to change right from the beginning of their trip to their summer home where everyone but Charles seems to be excited about。 This first book sets the scene as well as indicates that there is potential danger coming to the Quinn family but it isn't all doom and gloom there is budding teenage romance as well as a a stunning setting， but please be aware not a lot is answered in this book you will need to keep reading the series。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

The story line pulls you in from the start and holds your attention until you reach the end。 Family， traditions， secrets and so much more keep you turning the pages and makes it hard to put the book down once you start reading。 The characters are well developed， easy to get to know， and enjoyable。 A great summertime read。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

Great book This book grabbed my attention in the beginning and I can’t wait to read the complete series as the books become available。 If you love romance， suspense and mystery you’ll want to check these books out。

I thought this was a great first book in a new series because of the secrets and mysteries。 The characters pulled me right in， although I am not sure if I liked Pamela's husband， Charles。 I definitely want to know what he is hiding from his family and what all of the phone calls are about。I really liked that it was set in Newport， Rhode Island where the family owned a vacation home。 They called their home Newport Inn since they rent it out when they are not there。 I also liked the interestin I thought this was a great first book in a new series because of the secrets and mysteries。 The characters pulled me right in， although I am not sure if I liked Pamela's husband， Charles。 I definitely want to know what he is hiding from his family and what all of the phone calls are about。I really liked that it was set in Newport， Rhode Island where the family owned a vacation home。 They called their home Newport Inn since they rent it out when they are not there。 I also liked the interesting cliffhanger too。 I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review。 。。。more
